Emphasis on the treatment of small-scale bio-waste. Creation of integrated composting networks. Remote monitoring and management. Integration into waste plans.

Validation of new machines and processes. Support for public administration and waste companies in integrating domestic, local and community composting into the waste management system. Drafting of management plans.
Applications and ongoing Activities
Activity in progress since 2011. ENEA is a Center of excellence and national reference on the subject of small-scale composting. Experimentation of various electromechanical machines and technologies. Experimentation of different structuring, monitoring methods, etc. Support to Public Utilities (AMA Rome, Alte Madonie Ambiente), support to MATTM by decree pursuant to art. 48 of 221/2015, support to Coldiretti and several municipalities.
Ongoing: certification systems, simulation, intelligent management, tariff integration.
