Use
Accurate estimation of the availability of sustainable biomass and definition of the biomass supply basin. Optimization of location and size of new biomass plants. Optimization of biomass management (collecting, storage and transport to the plant).
Applications and ongoing Activities
Development of innovative analysis systems and decision support tools for a sustainable biomass supply chain management. Joint application of satellite remote sensing, Geographic Information System (GIS) and advanced IT tools.
