Innovations and Benefits
ENEA has some of the most advanced structures and equipment in Europe for the characterization and life tests of storage systems.
In particular, a 250 kW cycler is available, which can be used for battery packs up to 1000 V and, among the others, a climatic chamber equipped with all safety devices (inertization systems and safety valves) for carrying out battery abuse tests.
The benefits include the Power quality, Peak shaving, voltage or frequency regulation and the use of energy from renewable sources in more convenient periods (time shift between production and use).
