Innovations and Benefits
This technology significantly improves the resistance of metal materials to high-temperature corrosion, by way of a simple and low-cost process that can be also applied to surfaces having a complex form.
Use
Protection of small-sized surfaces of metal components to be used under critical conditions (corrosion, high temperatures).
Applications and ongoing Activities
Prototype facility for automatic deposition of protective metal coatings using special electrical treatments (ESD - Electro Spark Deposition). Contacts are underway with some companies interested in the ESD technology, such as Alfa Laval Italia, RWM Italia, Avio Aero SpA.
