Innovations and Benefits
Invisible marking of goods using polymeric materials with color centers. This particularly innovative technology is primarily addressed to industries or bodies that need to authenticate and / or classify objects for various aims, including anti-counterfeiting purposes, as well as to ensure the traceability of objects (e.g. high-value objects such as jewelry or objects in need of a high level of security like for example sensitive documents).

Authentication and / or classification of objects, including anti-counterfeiting purposes. Traceability guarantee with an invisible mark.
Applications and ongoing Activities
Demonstration samples were prepared. Measurements and test carried out on these samples showed operation at the ready-to-use level, although further optimization is possible for each specific application sector. ENEA patent 0001400146.
