Characterization of the effects of gamma radiation for applications in the field of conservation and protection of cultural heritage. Development of treatments for the cleanup and protection from insect attacks and biodeteriogens of archival material. Development and characterization of polymeric compounds in situ by gamma radiation for the protection and consolidation of wooden and stone artefacts of interest for cultural heritage.
Use
Experiments for the development of rehabilitation processes in the environmental sector and recovery of cultural heritage. Applications for the restoration, protection and consolidation of artefacts of historical and artistic interest.
