Innovations and Benefits
The laboratory is equipped with instrumentation aimed at the development and characterization of innovative catalysts for several processes for energy application.
To catalysts chemical and physical characterization SEM, RX, EDX, BET, TGA are available.
The catalysts are dynamically tested by laboratory reactors (1-2 cm of internal diameter).
The objective is to optimize the process, improve the activity of the catalysts and increase its stability.

Research activities and characterization of catalysts have been conducted inside the European project COMETHY
