Technologies for monitoring the shelf life of IV range fruit and vegetables. Application of new technologies based on the use of molecular markers that can be used as reference indicators to evaluate the state of conservation and quality of the IV range product.

Use

Knowledge of the functioning of the metabolic networks that influence the overall quality of the IV range product also in relation to the type of packaging and storage time.

Advanced diagnostics through an integrated methodological approach, identification of the actual quality and degree of degradation of products during the shelf life.

Applications and ongoing Activities

Ongoing activities on IV range fruit and vegetables of the LineaVerde, for which the integrated methodological approach has identified parameters related to the genomic, metabolomic, proteomic and microbiological profiling of the products.
