Innovations and Benefits
ENEA has technological platforms for the certification of processes and products through the metrological demonstration (materials and reference methods) of quality, safety and traceability (markers of origin and authenticity) of agri-food products.
Rapid diagnostic systems and devices to be used for the selection of raw materials and/or for the early detection of contaminations.
Use
Ensure the comparability and reliability of the measures, qualify the productions, prevent and protect against contamination risks and direct supervisory and control actions.
Applications and ongoing Activities
Ongoing activities with agri-food companies, production of diagnostic devices, with Consortia and Control Bodies: EU-RL CEFAO c/o ISS, Barilla Spa, LegaCoop, GIAS Spa, Bruker Daltonics Srl, EUROCLONE Spa, Control Consortium of Biological Products (CCPB) and Fraud Repression Office (ICQRF) of the MIPAAF.
