ENEA and IILA (Istituto Italo Latino Americano) co-signed in 2013 and renewed in 2016 a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening their mutual cooperation and encouraging new collaborations allowing scientific and technological exchange between ENEA and research institutions from Latin America.

 

Enea Activities

The collaboration consists in joint projects in the fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, environmental modelling and technologies, climate change mitigation and adaptation, enabling technologies for innovation (biotechnologies, nanotechnologies and materials, ICT, micro- and nano-structures for photonics), safety and security (seismic prevention, radioprotection, radiation biology), and cultural heritage conservation.

ENEA and IILA also encourage scientific researchers mobility and other training activities.
