SUSTAINABLE ELECTRIFICATION TECHNOLOGIES FOR RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Affordable and clean energy - Responsible consumption and production

For achieving the objectives

Agenda 2030

ENEA has developed a model allowing to assess the technical and economic feasibility and the dimensioning of rural off-grid, hybrid photovoltaic-diesel electrification systems under rural electrification projects in developing countries. Developed with Excel  in a multilanguage format (English, French and Italian), the system is a key instrument to local technicians, who can carry out feasibility studies and cost/benefit analyses based on energy, cost, and emission data.
