EXPO 2015: first visitors to the ENEA'S Vertical Farm

The ENEA vertical greenhouse at EXPO Milan 2015 is the symbol of a future agriculture with virtually zero impact on resources.

Zero soil, since lettuce and basil are grown in  water and nutrients (hydroponics)and also zero pesticides, zero emissions and zero waste.

Total recycling of water and fertilizers and energy efficiency thanks to a led illumination system.

The ENEA'S Vertical Farm is in the Future Food District opposite the “Supermarket of the Future” by Coop.
