INNOVATIVE RICE PRODUCTION AND LOCAL FOOD CROP VALORISATION FOR FOOD SUPREMACY AND SUSTAINABLE RURAL DEVELOPMENT IN BAGRÉ’S AREA, PROVINCE OF BOULGOU, BURKINA FASO

ENEA is partner in the project by the NGO Salute e Sviluppo (SeS), funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) through the call for applications to support Civil Society Organisations, and aimed at supporting food security and rural development in Bagré’s area, by diffusing innovative agronomic techniques for sustainable use of natural resources (reduced water consumption, use of photovoltaic energy to pump water, food crop storage).

ENEA Activities:

• eco-innovation services and diffusion of eco-friendly farming practices
• technical support in dimensioning the photovoltaic water-pumping plants
• technical training on innovative agronomic techniques for rice and vegetables cultivation and photovoltaic energy production.
