TRAINING ON THE FUTURE – AN ENEA PROJECT FOR TRAINING ON GLOBAL CITIZENSHIP

Quality education - Partnerships for the goals

For achieving the objectives

Agenda 2030

Connecting research and school to disseminate new scientific and technological knowledge on energy, the environment and sustainable use of natural resources. Supporting schools in diffusing new knowledge allowing young people to face the issues impacting their future of global citizens with greater awareness.

It is a wide-ranging project, promoted by ENEA since 2008 and involving several schools also from within students’ councils, supported by the Italian Ministry of Research and the Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea, and a number of local entities. This initiative conjugates the scientific dimension with practical application of technology: the Italian schools are proposed to contribute to the electrification of some school buildings in the southern global community by using small-size photovoltaic plants. A paradigm of success ENEA intends to make real in the light of 2030 Agenda, promoting new national and international partnerships.
