WATER SANITIZATION IN RURAL AREAS
For achieving the objectives
Agenda 2030
ENEA has developed procedures for sanitizing enterobacteria-polluted water to provide improved drinking-water source and basic sanitation to developing countries’ populations. This ENEA methodology allows to sanitize water by using ozone and low-cost facilities powered by solar panels.
Benefits and Advantages:
- production of “sanitization” water
- treatment of uncontrolled water
ENEA Service:
- technical support
- consulting
- training
ENEA Activities:
ENEA has designed and developed a specific facility for the treatment of small amounts of water possibly microbiologically polluted to be supplied to rural communities.
