Coronavirus: Online new website to support Italian Big Science companies

A new telematics tool to meet the needs of SMEs and industries of the Big Science sector during the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is the objective of a new site developed by INI - ILO Network Italia -the network of Industrial Liaison Officers (ILO), experts representative of the major Italian research bodies such as the CNR, ENEA, INAF and INF- which serves as a link between Italian companies, considered a worldwide excellence in the sector, and the large research infrastructures CERN, ESO, ESRF, ESS, F4E / ITER.

Thanks to the new tool, the first in Europe in the sector, companies will be able to report directly to INI and the relevant ILOs, any difficulties encountered during the activities or related to the measures implemented in the centers to combat the epidemic, and also access to updates on the measures to contain the Covid-19 emergency and information on laboratory reopenings from major international research infrastructures.

Solutions that complement the ordinary activities of the ILOs, aimed at supporting the participation of Italian companies in tenders and opportunities, in a market expected to reach a 10 billion euro turnover in the next five years: among the tools promoted are periodic seminars, meetings, information material, newsletters, databases, mailing lists and service communications to the Italian production world to facilitate the matching of supply and demand for innovation and to enhance the results of research in economic terms.
