ENEA, namely the Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development, conducts R&TD activities and provides public administration, private and public companies, and citizens as well with advanced services. Specifically, it conducts research on energy efficiency, renewable energy sources and sustainable use of fossil fuels.
