Energy: Partnership between ENEA and the register of industrial experts to kick off

21/1/2021

Train industrial experts on the latest developments related to energy efficiency to seize the various opportunities of a sector requiring increasingly qualified experts.

This is the objective of the Memorandum of Understanding signed by ENEA, the National Council of Industrial  Technicians  and Industrial Engineers (CNPI) and Foundation Opficium of the CNPI to jointly promote training and information activities addressed to all those operators working in the field of energy efficiency interested in joining the sector.

The first executive act of the agreement has concerned the creation of a training package of modular courses to meet the different needs of each individual profile. The goal, in fact, is to train operators who can support companies, public administrations and single citizens, to improve energy efficiency levels and reduce consumption.

Basic training,  but also more advanced courses to become a certified Expert in Energy Management. Plus, targeted training for those interested in the activities regarding the incentives introduced with the Relaunch decree. Precisely on these issues, the synergy with ENEA is an opportunity to have an exchange on the implementing procedures for the interventions to access the new mechanism.

The agreement also foresees activities for the dissemination of all the themes related to energy efficiency and of good practices on the subject.

"This latest point is important because of the role ENEA plays in promoting development and transfer of high energy efficiency technologies, systems and services for competitiveness and qualification of national production sectors, increasing energy efficiency awareness and contributing to behavioral evolution ",  Fabrizio Martini at the ENEA Energy Efficiency Department Unit, responsible for the Memorandum of Understanding for the Agency, said.

"This collaboration with a partner of excellence like ENEA arises from the need to implement targeted guidance and support our members in their professional path. A synergy even more meaningful at this stage, since industrial experts - who have always been leading in energy efficiency issues - will play a significant role in tax incentives ", Giovanni Esposito, president of the National Council of Industrial Experts, said.

The one with ENEA is the feather in the cap of a series of training initiatives we have designed for our members. In the long term this synergy aims to guarantee professional growth for all those who deal with or will deal with issues related to the energy market, and in the immediate future a concrete tool to put our category in a position to best intercept the market opportunities provided by recent regulations on the subject ”, Vanore Orlandotti, president of the CNPI Opificium Foundation, said.
