Innovation: ENEA and ANGI sign strategic partnership

The President of ENEA Federico Testa and the President of ANGI (National Association of Young Innovators) Gabriele Ferrieri have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with the aim of developing projects of excellence on ecological transition addressed to companies, PAs and main stakeholders of innovation in Italy.

In particular, the agreement envisages training and dissemination initiatives promoting an efficient use of energy and raising awareness of green policies, renewable sources, the circular economy and technology transfer.

"The synergy with ANGI aims at promoting and strengthening innovation towards new green entrepreneurship ventures, to carry out a process of positive contamination and of technology and digital transfer acceleration, by implementing studies and research for the dissemination of best practices in the sectors of energy and sustainability ”, ENEA president Federico Testa pointed out. "ENEA has strengthened its tools to support companies face the challenge of innovation, through transfer of knowledge and offer of advanced technologies as well as services, products, infrastructures and dedicated skills", Testa said.

"We are happy with this new strategic partnership which will proactively contribute to the implementation of initiatives aimed at stimulating innovators on the issues of energy and new technologies for a sustainable development ", ANGI president Gabriele Ferrieri pointed out.

"Due to our commitment to environmental sustainability, smart mobility and digital innovation policies, we considered it crucial to collaborate with ENEA, one of the largest institutions in the field of green energy and sustainable economic development ", Ferrieri said .

The ENEA and ANGI partnership aims to develop projects tailored to address the needs of recipients, particularly to encourage youth entrepreneurship, facilitate the entry of young graduates into the labour market and provide all the necessary innovation tools to disadvantaged subjects lacking digital  infrastructures.
