13/9/2018

The latest issue of the ENEA quarterly review "Energy, Environment and Innovation", dedicated to decarbonisation. With over 150 pages that can be consulted online and freely downloadable, the latest issue of the magazine explores the possibility of reducing the use of fossil fuels in energy production, also with reference to national and international targets aiming at reducing climate-altering gas emissions by 2020 and 2050, bringing them to levels compatible with environmental protection.

The issue opens with an interview with Mauro Petriccione, director of the European Commission's Climate Action, and continues by examining the impacts of decarbonisation, with authoritative contributions from the world of research, entrepreneurship and associations that deal with energy.

The section "Point & Counterpoint" explores the possibilities for the country to reach the objectives set in the roadmap set by the European Union, through the opinions of Giovanni Battista Zorzoli, a University Professor, expert in energy and President of FREE, and Alberto Clô, former Minister of Industry, Professor of Applied Economics and Editor of the magazine "Energy".

The "International Framework" addresses international issues, while "Open Space" contains articles of topical interest ranging from NATO sustainable procurement policies of raw materials for the European industry up to LPG prices in the residential sector. The number closes with a focus on sustainable mobility.
