The web portal “ENEAforEXPO 2015”

ENEA has strengthened its presence at EXPO 2015 through its new web portal dedicated to enterprises, public administration, media, and to all stakeholders interested in research and innovation on “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”.

The main objective is to disseminate information on the outcomes of ENEA’s applied research in terms of technologies and advanced services related to five major themes: land, water, energy, sustainable agriculture, and food safety. Specifically, the symbol of ENEA-for-EXPO excellence and innovation is the “Vertical Farm”, set up in the very heart of the Future Food District.

Thanks to smartphone-compatible QR Codes placed on the Vertical Farm, people can have direct access with their smartphones to all diverse ENEA technologies targeted at attaining safe food and sustainable agriculture by the efficient use of water, energy and land; furthermore, the website can automatically recognize PC, tablet and smartphone visitors, so that images are viewed correctly on any kind of display that is being used.

By accessing the  ENEAforEXPO  website, it is possible to download detailed technical and scientific information, read the latest ENEA’s news on the EXPO 2015 themes, and be always updated on the events scheduled in Milan and all over Italy.
